How much can be put on each glass?
It largely depends on the size of the glass - each glass' page will have the text limits for lines and characters. We do count spaces, but it's okay to go over a little bit, we're fairly flexible. Please keep in mind that the more text you want on a glass the smaller it will be.
Which fonts can be used?
Our stock fonts can be seen on our Fonts page. We can use most Windows fonts - if the font you want is not on our list please feel free to email us with your request and we'll let you know if we have it. If we happen to not have it, you can email us the .ttf file.
How big will the text/design be?
It depends on the glass, the text and/or design, and the font. We'll be happy to send you a .jpg proof (an example picture of what your text/design will look like) if you like, as well as examples of your text in different fonts - send an email to email@example.com with your request, or leave a note that you'd like a proof in the comments or text box.
How is the text/design put on the glass?
We use a sandblaster - your text/design will be smooth and deep and can never come off as in screen printing.
How do I order multiples of the same glass?
If you would like to order more than one of an item with different text on each glass, please note what you would like on each glass. Examples: Glass #1: Bob Glass #2: Sue etc... If you have multiple lines, do the same thing.
Alternately, you can fill out the order form, click"add to cart" which will take you to the shopping cart, click"continue shopping" which will take you back to the page you just left and you can then enter your next item.
What's the difference between Monograms and initials?
If you desire a 3 letter horizontal monogram with the center letter larger than the others, please select your text style and use the additional instructions box below to let us know that you want a monogram, something like"use monogram style - M is the last name".
For example, the initials DRM (David Richard MacKay) would be DMR. For a monogram, the last name is the letter in the middle (first, last, middle); for initials the letters should be in order (first, middle last). If three letters are entered with no note or layout instructions we will assume that you want the initial style.
Can I use the reverse or back side of the glass?
We will engrave the reverse side of any piece of glassware for small additional charge.
Will my text be centered?
All text is automatically centered on the glassware, if you want a different alignment, please let us know.
Are there any set-up or artwork fees?
We don't charge any set-up or artwork fees. See below:
Can I use my own design or logo?
Please email us your design to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our artwork requirements can be seen on our Custom Designs page. We need high resolution black and white line art (at least 250 dpi and no gray). We will let you know if your artwork/design is acceptable.
Ordering a Custom Design:
On the order form, use the Optional Design tab. There is an option to use your own design.
Pricing For Designs:
If you want just your design on the glasses, then there is no extra charge - the price is the same as on our website. If you do want text on one side and your design on the other side there is a small extra charge per glass.
Are there any minimum quantities?
You are free to order one glass, we have no minimums.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production time is two to three business days and shipping times are one to five business days (using UPS Ground) depending on how far you are from Northern Illinois (View Delivery Map).
For example, if you live in Nevada and place your order on Tuesday it will ship by that Friday (perhaps sooner); shipping time to Nevada is four business days so you would receive your order the following Thursday. We cannot, however, keep to this schedule during the Christmas season (mid-November through December). During this time we will post how long current production time is at the top of our website.
If you're in a hurry, just leave a note in the comments box with your due date. We will do our best to accommodate rush orders. We don't charge for this but you may want to use 2nd Day Air shipping (which can be considerably more expensive).
What credit cards do you acceptWe accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover and utilize Square for credit card processing. I'll send you a link via email from Square to get a PDF of your confirmation/invoice and to pay your invoice. This way ensures that you get an accurate shipping price, and it's the most secure way to pay your invoice. The link will be sent within a few hours during normal business hours and within 24 hours on the weekend. If you don't see anything from me please check your spam filter first, if it's not there you can call me or send an email to email@example.com and I'll send it again. Note: if you'd like to call me with your credit card info and have me hang on to it for future use that's great too - then whenever you need something you can just shoot me an email and I'll take it from there. A lot of my repeat customers like this option a lot.
How do you ship?
We ship via UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air and the U.S. Postal Service. If you would like to use 2nd Day Air, you will see "quote" in the shipping charge box when you order, as 2nd Day Air is very difficult to estimate. We will send you an email by noon the next business day with your ship date, and the cost and arrival times for both 2nd Day Air and Ground - you may choose which you'd like. If you do not see an email from us, please check your spam/junk filter for our email, otherwise, please feel free to call or text us at (815) 964-2080, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Customer Pick Up is available for the Rockford, IL Metro area customers. We will call you when your order is ready. Pick up hours are normally 8am to 5pm, but if you need a different time we can certainly work something out.
What if I don't get my confirmation email (and other email issues)?
We will send you an email confirmation immediately after you place your order (it's automatic). If you do not see it right away, then either your email address was accidentally entered incorrectly or your receipt email went into an spam/junk filter. Please add email@example.com to your safe list. Let us know if you haven't received your confirmation and we'll be happy to send it again. When your order ships you'll get an email from UPS with your tracking number - if you don't see it please check your spam filter first; otherwise email us at the above address and we'll send it to you.
Is The Glass Dishwasher Safe?
Yes, they are as safe as any glass. We cannot, however, guarantee that a glass will never break. It is glass, after all.
Will my order be secure?
We use the industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure your information is encrypted.
We want you to be happy with your glasses - if we made a spelling error (it doesn't happen very often, but we are human!) we will send you out a replacement glass right away; the same applies in the unlikely event that a glass arrives broken. If the error was made by the customer we cannot replace the glass or credit your credit card - please proofread your text before completing your order.
